Cherish

This was a quote from Fr. Alvin's homily during today's sunset mass, and it captured me right on the spot. It is such a beautiful quote and it certainly brings a very deep meaning altogether. and
in true life, undeniable, it is not easy to find someone who you can't live without...it takes commitment, connection, chemistry and most importantly, love.
well, after mass...(maybe its the Holy Spirit's work), we headed for a movie, Twilight


it was really a wonderful movie that shows how great love is..it really pictures the true meaning of love, just like the quote mentioned above..and the story is just being told in such a different but beautiful manner...as what is written in the poster, "when you can live forever. what do you live for?" a question worth pondering....

hmm.....what would i actually do then?? will i take back or change anything that has happen? well, there is a definite YES to that question for some reasons, but then, reflecting on my life these years, there is always a reason for everything that had happen, whether good or bad...life is full of choices, its just a matter of whether we made the right choice.....we can't turn back time, so its best not to recall on the past and think of those failures or disapointments that had occurred, but instead learn from it...sometimes, we have to be grateful for the bad things that happen in life, though everyone wouldnt want any bad things to happen, but somehow, it teaches us more about life, only thing, it teaches us in a harder way.....

bad things that happen will only allow us to cherish and treasure our life even more, our belongings, our families and friends and not to take things for granted. things aren't always a smooth ride, it is full of pot-holes and humps that we have to undergo each day to move on to the next level...once we learnt to cherish everything that has happened in our lives, things will be brighter each day....~have a nice day~

I'm Not The Only One

As I am writing this post, the background music of Sam Smith's I'm Not The Only One seemed perfectly representing my emotions deep inside...well having said that, I have to be honest that i have been at doubts for various things lately and the song is just reflecting exactly and summarizing everything... and that is just what songs are really to me... i noticed that of late, i tend to really pay attention to the lyrics of the songs rather than just the tune and rhythm, and it is very interesting to understand the whole meaning of the song altogether. there is certainly alot of things being said and pen down in a song, and maybe only the writer or music arranger of the song would understand, apart from the singer itself, but when we do take time to listen to the lyrics, it is indeed beautiful.. a song can only contain so much words but it tells a whole story, if only we know how to look at it. enough said.  I know I'm not the only one.
