Passing a judgement

how quick do we pass a judgement?

That is a simple question but the answers will be very subjective, because it all depends on the mind set of the person reading it.

How often do we pass a judgement? what was the first thought that comes to mind when you read that line? Did you read it as it is or were you looking for things between the lines?

It is funny that people are so quick to judge because they always try to find things beneath what is being presented to them, when in actual fact, things are just as it is. I find it difficult to accept that people tend to overthink when being presented with something, be it a simple question, a simple remark, a picture or just about anything.

Oh well, I have to admit, I am also a person who overthinks. I always look at things overall, and not just how it is and often times than not, it gets me into trouble. Hence, I try to change the outlook I have on things and just accept things as they are presented to me, giving the presenter the benefit of doubt.

make sense? maybe not so simple for some to grasp, but the simple principle behind it is just that humans tend to overthink things, a little too much and overboard. Things can be simple, but often thought as being something so huge till the skies will fall. but then again, this is something not easy to be changed overnight. it takes the hardest and toughest experiences to change a person's mind set altogether.

so when the next time something is presented to you, try to take things as it is, first....and if need be, only if it is needed, then think deeper.. do not overstretch your mind over things that aren't meant to be thought anyway. learn to take things in front of you. accept things as they are.

feedbacks, questions, posts, blogs, status updates, etc. are just as it is. do not overthink of what the person may think or the purpose behind all of it. there is no reason to find out. and if you do, what do you get out of it? think about it.

Amen.
