Being responsible

"Don't be calculative, don't compare, just do what you are suppose to do!"...I always tell myself that..or so I tried to, but somehow or rather, it will never sink in and I will think of the opposite of it...

That's just human after all. We just like to compare and be calculative of everything and everyone revolving around/about us. There is sure to be some dissatisfaction, some hurts, some annoyance all because we calculate our own labor and compare with the labor of others. Why? Just so that we feel good about ourselves? or just because we have nothing better to do and then realize that others do exist in our world too? 

humans humans humans...well i'm one of them too. just loving to compare and calculate and then starts complaining (either out loud or silently relenting in the heart) for the unfair judgment around..but then..... something made me realize that no matter what happens, karma is always at work... people often associate karma with doing good, returns good and doing bad, returns bad...well, it seems, it is not just good and bad..its more like what ever you do to people or anything, the effect will somehow falls back to you (maybe not immediately, but it will)..hard to digest? haha...it didn't occur to me too until i experienced it! 

so that's it people. no matter what you do or say, the effect will somehow falls back on us in whatever way or form it may be. thus, in simple words, be responsible for all your words and actions. It may eat you up or lift you up! have a great weekend ahead!

I'm Not The Only One

As I am writing this post, the background music of Sam Smith's I'm Not The Only One seemed perfectly representing my emotions deep inside...well having said that, I have to be honest that i have been at doubts for various things lately and the song is just reflecting exactly and summarizing everything... and that is just what songs are really to me... i noticed that of late, i tend to really pay attention to the lyrics of the songs rather than just the tune and rhythm, and it is very interesting to understand the whole meaning of the song altogether. there is certainly alot of things being said and pen down in a song, and maybe only the writer or music arranger of the song would understand, apart from the singer itself, but when we do take time to listen to the lyrics, it is indeed beautiful.. a song can only contain so much words but it tells a whole story, if only we know how to look at it. enough said.  I know I'm not the only one.
